Public General Laws, relating to Appeals, and to re-cnaet
the same with amendments,

Was read a second time and ordered to bo engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact, with amend-
ments, section 170, Article 30, Public General Laws, entitled
" Crimes and Punishments," sub-title, "Rivers," being upon,
a second reading,

Mr. Hopkins submitted the following amendment:

Section 2, line 2, strike out the word " from," and insert
the words, "thirty days after."
