A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 17 and 19, of
Article 10, of Public Local Laws of Dorchester county, en-
titled Almshouse, and to repeal sections 10 and 20 of said
Article, and re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Cameron, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably, a bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the Governor to appoint an additional Justice of the Peace-
in the Fifth Election District of Baltimore county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Ritter, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably, a bill entitled a supplement to an Act, entitled an
Act to create and incorporate the Monocacy and Montgomery
Turnpike Company.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Harrington, Chairman of a Select Committee, re-
ported favorably a bill entitled an Act regulating Fences in
Lake's, Straights' and Drawbridge districts of Dorchester
county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. White, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably, a bill entitled an Act to author^e the Trustees of
Mechanicstown Academy, Frederick county, Maryland, or
their successors, to sell and convey said Academy and distri-
bute the proceeds of the sale thereof among the stockholders.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Wiley, Chairman of the Joint Committee on Print-
ing, submitted the following

REPORT.

To the General Assembly of Maryland:

GENTLEMEN :—The Joint Committee on Printing have con-
tracted with Robert H. Corbin to index the Public Docu-
ments of the present session of the General Assembly for
the same price paid at the last session.

All of which is respectfully submitted,

Mr. Morse, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably, a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
town of Frostburg, in Allegany county.
