timore and Potomac Rail Road Company, and to repeal the
2nd section of the Act of 1860, chapter 71, and to extend the
time for the completion of the Baltimore and Potomac Rail
Road,

Being upon its second reading, was
On motion by Mr. Earle,

Postponed until Friday next, February 4th, and made
the order of the day.

The Senate bill entitled, an Act to remedy and give effect
to informal and invalid deeds, and to grant possession there-
under,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Frederick county to build a new Alms-
House for Frederick county, to borrow money on the credit
of the county for that purpose, to issue bonds for the
payment of the same and to levy taxes, &c. ,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
AFFIRMATIVE.

Browne, Malone,
Denson, Parker,
Earle, Sellman,
Fields, Snyder,
Grove, Stephenson,
Henry. Welch.—15.

NEGATIVE.—None.

Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

The Senate bill entitled, an Act to authorize Joshua Mot-
ter and Samuel Motter, or either of them, to convey all the
right, title, interest and claim of the German Reformed Con-
gregation at Emmittsburg, in Frederick county, in and to
the Elias Church property, to the Evangelical Lutheran Con-
gregation or their legal representatives,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
