troduce a bill to add an additional section to Article sixteen,
of the Code of Public General Laws, providing for the appoint-
ment of special Auditors.

On motion of Mr. Baldwin of Harford,

Leave was granted to the Harford county delegation to intro-
duce a bill for the better protection of Partridges and other
Wild Fowl, in Harford county.

On motion of Mr. Ritter,

Leave was granted to the Frederick county delegation to
report a bill to amend the Charter of the Washington Turn-
pike Road Company, in Frederick county.

On motion of Mr. Markland,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Wild Fowl to
report a bill to repeal sections six, seven and eight, of Article
ninety-eight of Public General Laws, entitled Wild Fowl,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Chapman,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill reviving and renewing the Charter of the
Weverton Manufacturing Company, incorporated by Act pass-
ed December session, 1834, Article 144, and supplement
thereto, passed April 2d, 1836.

On motion of Mr. Maikland,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Wild Fowl, to in-
troduce a bill to add additional sections to the Act of 1868,
chapter 406, entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867,
chapter 184, entitled an Act to repeal Art. 71, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Oysters."

On motion of Mr. McLane,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to change and enlarge the jurisdiction of
Baltimore City Court, the Superior Court of Baltimore city,
and the Court of Common Pleas, as provided by the 29th sec-
tion of the 4th Article of the Constitution of Maryland.

On motion of Mr. Touchstone,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Inspections to re-
port a bill to provide for the inspection of manufactured
Bark, in Baltimore city.

On motion of Mr. Brown,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal and re-enact with amendments, sec-
tion 34 of Article 75, title " Pleadings, Practice and Pro-
