The Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to John D. Bow-
ling and John Bowling, of Prince George's county, moneys
erroneously paid by them to Inspectors of Tobacco in Balti-
more city, for outage and storage,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as fol-

On motion of Mr. Neill,

The rules being suspended, the House proceeded to the
consideration of Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section
6, of Article 56, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Billiards,"

Said bill being upon a second reading,
Mr. Neill submitted the following amendment :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Amend sections two and three by striking out the same,
and inserting in lieu thereof the following :

Section 6. And be it enacted, That a license may be grant-
ed to any person who may apply for permission to keep a
billiard table, for which license there shall be paid the sum
of£ fifty dollars, and that for every additional billiard table
ktpt by the same person or persons, he, she or they shall pay
a license of twenty-five dollars; provided, that all said addi-
