Church, of Montgomery county, Maryland, and to a grant
of land made by Richard M. Williams, Trustee, to said
Board of Trustees,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to amend the Charter of Leiters-
burg, being upon a second reading,

Mr. Neill submitted the following amendment:

Section 1, add at the end of the section, and the Cor-
poration shall be liable to all jail fees of persons so com-
mitted.

Which was adopted.

The bill as amended was then read a second time, and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to amend the Act passed at the
January session, 1868, chapter 431, entitled an Act to incor_
porate the Frederick and Williamsport Railroad Company

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to amend an Act passed January
session, 1860, entitled an Act to incorporate the Carrollton
Avenue Company,

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third rending.

The bill entitled an Act for the better protection of Game
in Montgomery county,

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2, of chapter 100,
passed at the session of the General Assembly, 1867, enti-
tled an Act to incorporate the Trustees of the Baptist Church,
at Jones' Mill, in Dorchester county, and re-enact the said
section, so as to read as follows :

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled au Act to incorporate the Convention of
the Protestant Episcopal Churcb in the Diocese of Easton,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled " Har-
