ling and John Bowling, of Prince George's county, moneys
erroneously paid by them to Inspectors of Tobacco, in Balti-
more city, for outage and storage, without amendments.

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Marbury, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 44, 45
and 49, of Article 16, of the Code of Public Local Laws, en-
titled "Prince George's County," under head of "Collectors,"
enacted by the Act of 1868, chapter 330, and to repeal sec-
tions 33, 34 and 35, of Article 81, of the Code of Public Gene-
ral Laws, entitled "Revenues and Taxes," enacted by the
Act of 1865, chapter 155, and section 74, of Article 81, of
the Code of Public General Laws, under same head, in so far
as the same may relate to Prince George's county, and to re-
enact the following as sections 44, 45 and 49 of Article 16,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Prince George's
County," under the head of "Collectors," without amend-
ments.

Which was read a second time.
Also, reported unfavorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to make valid a deed from
the County Commissioners of Prince George's county to
Charles Parker.

The unfavorable report was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Jordan, (the rules being suspended,)

The House proceeded to the consideration of the Senate bill
entitled an Act to distribute the Academic and High School
fund of Carroll county, to the Western Maryland College and
Manchester Academy, in Carroll county,

Said bill being upon a third reading,

The bill was then read a third time and passed by yeas
and nays, as follows :
