On motion of Mr. Baldwin, pf Atone Arundel, (the rules
being suspended,)
The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill enti-
tled an Act to appropriable the sum of eight thousand one
hundred and twenty-two dollars and twelve cents, to pay
William Black, of Annapolis, and other's, for the purchase
money of the lot or lots of ground upon which, the Governor's
stable and carriage house in the City of Annapolis have been
built, and for the work and labor done and materials fur-
nished by said William Black and others in the erection of
the same.
Said bill being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Baldwin, of Anne Arundel,
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill made the order of the day for tomorrow, Thursday, at
12 o'clock.
The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and Coun-
cil of Hagerstown to levy a tax upon all dogs owned or kept
in said town,
Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
