Said bill was then returned to the Senate.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to endorse the bonds of the Elkton and
Massey's Railroad Company and the Maryland and Delaware
Railroad Company,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal all those sections of Ar-
ticle 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws for the City of Balti-
more, title " Inspections," from section 272 to section 567;
also, the following Acts supplementary and amendatory
thereto, to wit: the Act of 1861, chapter 35, Acts of 1862,
chapters 116, 199, 254 and 283, Acts of 1864, chapters 189,
328, 339, 346, 369 and 384, Acts of 1865, chapters 6, 165,
192 and 194, Acts of 1867, chapters 148, 241, 368 and 381,
and Acts of 1868, chapters 128, 295 and 458.

Being upon a second reading,

A call of the House was ordered.
