gation. ;

Mr. Neill presented the petition of Margaret Cramer and
others, asking for a pension.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pensions.

Mr. Colton presented the petition of Wilson A. Pullen, J.
S. Morrow and 290 others, praying a repeal or modification
of the license for Real Estate Brokers in Baltimore City.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways-
and Means.

Mr. Bowlus presented the petition of Ezra Minnick and
other citizens, for the extension of the corporate powers of
the Burgess and Commissioners of Middletown.

Also,

The petition of Lloyd H. Hyatt and other citizens,
against any extension of the corporate powers of the Bur-
gess and Commissioners of Middletown.

Which were severally read and referred to the Frederick
Delegation.

Mr. Blake presented the petition of Wm. F. Bragg, F.
W. Stockman and nineteen others, asking that the term of
the Mayor of Baltimore city be reduced from four years to
two years. .

Which was read and referred to the Baltimore City Dele-
gation.

Mr. Woolford presented the petition of Jno. Webster and
other Trustees of Almshouse in Dorchester county, praying-
the repeal of sections 10, 17, 19, 20 and 25 of Article 10,
Code of Public Local Laws, relating to Almshouse of Dor-
chester county, and re-enactment with amendments.

Which was read and referred to the Dorchester Delega-
tion.

Mr. Baldwin, of Anne Arundel, submitted the following-
order :

Ordered, That the use of this Hall be given to the Grand
Division of the Sons of Temperance, of Maryland, on Thurs-
day Evening next, for the purpose of holding a public
meeting.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Thomas submitted the following order:

Ordered, That leave of absence be granted J. B. Brown
until Thursday next,
