1086 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 29,

A bill entitled an Act to add additional sections to Article
10, of Public Local Laws of Dorchester county, relating to
County Commisioners for said county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Brown, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 108 of
chapter 161, of the Acts of General Assembly of 1865, en-
titled an Act to repeal section 108 of Article 17, of the Code
of Public Local Laws, entitled "Queen Anne's County," and
enact in lieu thereof the following, relating to public roads
and gates, and amend the same so as to read as follows, with-
out amendments.

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Cooper, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 194, 196,
and 197, chapter 35, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, relating to docks, and re-enact the same with amend-
ments, with proposed amendments.

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Section 194, strike out "two" and insert five.

Section 196, add at end of section the words : to be paid to
the Harbor Master for the use of the City of Baltimore.

The amendments were severally read and adopted,
And the bill, as amended, read a second time.

Mr. Hilton, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act for the better protection
of stallions in Montgomery county, without amendments.

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Purnell, Chairman of a Select Committee, to whom
was recommitted the bill entitled an Act to amend and re-
enact section 89, Article 22, of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Worcester county, relating to the protection of fish in Sy-
nepuxent Bay, in Worcester county, reported tthe same with
proposed amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strike out all in sub-section 1, after the word "shall," in
line 9, and insert in lieu thereof the words: be divided
