JOINT RESOLUTION
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
State Librarian be, and he is hereby authorized and directed
to subscribe in the name of the State for two hundred and
fifty copies of Cohen & CampbelPs Digest of the Decisions of
the Court of Appeals of the State of Maryland ; Provided,
that the price thereof shall not exceed ten dollars per copy;
and provided further, that any three Judges of the said
Court of Appeals shall certify, under their hands and seals,
that in their dpinion, the said Digest is a faithful Digest of
said Decisions and deserves the patronage of the State, and
the Librarian is further authorized and directed to distribute
the same number of copies of said Digest, and in the same
way as the copies of the Maryland Reports are now by law
authorized to be distributed, and the residue to sell or ex-
change for such other books as may be required by the State
Library; provided, nevertheless, that the said Librarian
shall retain thirty-five copies in said Library, for the use
thereof.

Also, reported unfavorably, a bill entitled an Act to re-
peal section 20, of Article 30, of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, entitled "Crimes and Punishments,"
sub-title "Bribery,"
The unfavorable report was adopted.
Also, reported favorably, the Senate bill entitled an Act
to repeal section 3, of an Act passed March 21st, 1867, chap-
ter 329, entitled an Act to provide for the selection, drawing
and summoning of Jurors in the several counties, and pre-
scribing their qualifications, and also, section 2, of an Act
passed and approved March 30th, 1868, chapter 316, entitled
an Act to repeal section 2, of an Act passed March 21st, 1867,
(chapter 329,) entitled an Act to provide for the selection,
drawing and summoning of Jurors in the several counties,
and prescribing their qualifications, and re-enact the same
with amendments, and to re-enact the said sections 2 and 3
with amendments, without amendments,

Mr. Lankford, Chairman of the Committee on the Chesa-
peake Bay and its Tributaries, reported favorably.
The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Salisbury
Navigation, Towing and Wharf Company, without amend-
ments.
