The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 164, Article 30,
Code of Public General Laws, title "Crimes and Punish-
ments," and to re-enact the same so as to read as follows,

Being upon a second reading,

Mr. Kirk submitted the following amendment:

Strike out in line 7, all after the word " Meeting," to the
word "on" in line 8.

Strike out the word "giving," in line 3, and the word
"give" in line 5.

On motion of Mr. Turner,

A division of the question was ordered.

The first division of the question was then adopted.
