On motion of Mr. Merrick, (the rules being suspended,)
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary, to
introduce a bill to repeal sections one hundred and seventy-
nine and one hundred and eighty-one, of Article twenty-six,
of the Code of Public Laws, entitled "Corporations," and to
re-enact the same with amendments.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary, to
introduce a bill to amend Article 4, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of the City of Baltimore, sub-title "Courts," by
adding certain additional sections thereto, providing fo the
appointment of arbitrators and defining their powers.
On motion of Mr. Mitchell, (the rules being suspended,)
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary, to in-
troduce a bill to repeal and re-enact with amendments, the Act
of Assembly of 1868, chapter 56, providing punishment for
destroying property maliciously.
