STATE BOARD OF EXAMINERS FOR
AUDIOLOGISTS
In 1992, the Board was reorganized to form the
State Board of Examiners for Audiologists, Hearing
Aid Dealers, and Speech-Language Pathologists
(Chapter 326, Acts of 1992).

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS
The Board, in 1993, was renamed the State Board
of Examiners for Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dis-
pensers, and Speech-Language Pathologists
(Chapter 448, Acts of 1993).
STATE BOARD OF EXAMINERS FOR
SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS
The Board was abolished in 1992; its functions were
assigned to the State Board of Examiners for Audiolo-
gists, Hearing Aid Dealers, and Speech-Language
Pathologists (Chapter 326, Acts of 1992).
STATE COMMISSION ON ARTHRITIS &
RELATED DISEASES
In 1992, the Commission was renamed the State
Advisory Council on Arthritis and Related Diseases
and placed under the Local and Family Health
Administration (Chapter 71, Acts of 1992).
STATE COMMISSION ON HEREDITARY &
CONGENITAL DISORDERS
The Commission was renamed in 1992 as the State
Advisory Council on Hereditary and Congenital
Disorders and placed under the Local and Family
Health Administration (Chapter 71, Acts of 1992).

STATE COMMISSION ON HIGH BLOOD
PRESSURE & RELATED CARDIOVASCULAR
RISK FACTORS
In 1992, the Commission became the State Advi-
sory Council on High Blood Pressure and Related
Cardiovascular Risk Factors and was placed under
the Local and Family Health Administration
(Chapter 71, Acts of 1992).
STATE COMMISSION ON PHYSICAL FITNESS
The Commission was renamed the State Advisory
Council on Physical Fitness and placed under the
Local and Family Health Administration in 1992
(Chapter 71, Acts of 1992).
STATE HOSPITAL LICENSING ADVISORY
BOARD
Under the Licensing and Certification Administration, the
Board was abolished in 1992 (Chapter 17, Acts of 1992).
TAWES-BLAND BRYANT NURSING HOME
Formerly administered by the Mental Hygiene Ad-
ministration, the Home closed in May 1992.
WALTER P. CARTER CENTER,
MENTAL RETARDATION UNIT
Formerly under the Developmental Disabilities Ad-
ministration, the Mental Retardation Unit closed
July 1,1990.
CITIZENS ADVISORY BOARD FOR
WALTER P. CARTER CENTER,
MENTAL RETARDATION UNIT
Formerly under the Developmental Disabilities Ad-
ministration, the Board ceased to exist after the
Mental Retardation Unit closed July 1, 1990.
