ENERGY OFFICE
Transferred from the Department of Natural
Resources to the Department of Housing and
Community Development in 1987 (Senate Bill no.
699).
ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH
GUIDANCE COMMITTEE
The Committee formerly served as an advisory
board to the Power Plant Research Program. In
1986, the Committee merged into the Science
Advisory Board, which now serves the Program.
EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL
PROGRAM
Formerly under the Water Resources
Administration, the Program was transferred to
the Department of the Environment in 1987
(Senate Bill no. 671).
OIL CONTROL PROGRAM
Transferred in 1987 to the Department of the
Environment (Senate Bill no. 671). The Program
previously had been under the Water Resources
Administration.

ROSARYVILLE STATE PARK
ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Formerly an advisory body for the Capital
Programs Administration, the Committee has
been inactive since 1985.
SENECA CREEK STATE PARK
ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Committee has been inactive since 1985. It
previously had served as an advisory body for the
Capital Programs Administration.
STORMWATER MANAGEMENT
PROGRAM
Formerly under the Water Resources
Administration, the Program was placed under
the Department of the Environment in 1987
(Senate Bill no. 671).
WESTERN MARYLAND POWER
PLANT SITING STUDY ADVISORY
GROUP
Disbanded in 1985 when the Western Maryland
power plant study was completed.
