147 Composed of II members originally appointed by the Board of County Commissioners
for 1-year terms. The Chairman is to be appointed annually by the Board of County Com-
missioners. Subsequent terms of the members of the Commission will be for 3 years. The
County Executive now makes the appointments subject Lo County Council approval.
148 Appointed by the County Executive with County Council approval.
149 Composed of the County Health Officer, the Chief of Police, and five citizens including
a veterinarian and a representative of the local humane organization. Members serve two
year terms and are appointed by the County Executive with County Council confirmation.
The County Executive designates the Chairman.
