ADDENDA AND ERRATA
It will be obvious to every reader of the MARYLAND MANUAL that a book of this kind can never be wholly accurate even on the date it appears. The very last changes were made in proof on December 3, 1&71. But at that time, while to the best of our knowledge the book is believed to be accurate as of that date, other parts of the book, for example the Legislature, are accurate only through November 22, 1971. The reader of the following will please take this fact into consideration. p. 59 Under the Board of Revenue Estimates, read Secretary of Budget and Fiscal Planning on line 4. p. 71 Under Advisory Council on Drug Abuse, the first sentence of the second paragraph should read Drug Abuse Administra- tion. p. 74 Under Boys' Village of Maryland, the first sentence of the second paragraph should read: Boys' Village of Maryland exercises its functions under the supervision, direction, control and general management of the Juvenile Services Administra- tion. p. 86 Under Air Quality Control Advisory Council, read Robert W. Phillips in place of Vacancy. p. 90 Under State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners read Florence Kendall, 1974 in place of Vacancy. p. 95 Under Radiation Control Advisory Board, read J. Cookman Boyd, Jr„ 1975. p. 96 Under Board of Certification of Water Works, read Chairman, Louis M. Euler, 1974. The other members of the Board are Henry Silberman, representing the Department of Water Resources, Ralph L. Harper, 1973. William A. Hasfurther, 1974, Robert L. Dodd, Albert S. Paye and Robert W. Pierce, 1975. There is no change in the dates of the expiration of the terms of the members who are not listed here. p. 99 Under Greater Laurel Hospital Authority, read Helen Rives, 1974 vice Leon Pear, and Celia Jimenez, 1972, vice W. John Smith. p. 100 Under Maryland State School Health Council, delete the words Vice Chairman after the name of Oscar C. Jensen. p. 128 Under Maryland State Board of Well Drillers, the last sen- tence of the first paragraph should read: One member repre- sents the Department of Water Resources, and one the En- vironmental Health Administration of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. p. 138 Under the Employment Security Administration, the second sentence should read: Under the terms of the Social Security Employment Security Administration is a State agency entirely financed by the Federal Government. p. 142 Under Maryland Committee on Children and Youth, the first sentence should read; The Governor appointed this Committee in 1969 to plan for Maryland's participation in the White House Conference on Children and Youth which was held in 1970. 959 |
