MARYLAND MANUAL 793
Fifth District: Prince George's County: 1st, 2nd, 7th, 10th, 13th,
14th, 16th-21st Election Districts, precincts 1, 3, 6, II and 15th of
the 6th.
Montgomery County: Precincts 4, 6, 8, 9, 21, 22, and 41 of the 13th
Election District.
Sixth District: Garrett, Allegany, Washington, Frederick, Carroll
and Howard Counties, the 1st and 12th Election Districts of Mont-
gomery County, and the following. areas of Baltimore County:
(1) All of Election District One except that part which lies, within
the United States Bureau of Census, 1970, tracts 4001, 4002, 4016.01,
4010.02, 4003, 4004, 4006, 4010, 4006, 4008, 4007.01 and 4007.02.
(2) That part of the 2nd Election District consisting; of precincts
II, 18, 19, and 20 in their entirety, that part of precinct 17 that lies
southwest of Liberty Road, and that part of precinct 21 that lies
south of Liberty Road and south of Lyons Mill Road and that portion
of the Second Election District that is bounded on the south by Liberty
Road and Lyons Mill Road, on the east by Deer Park Road and the
boundary between the Second and Fourth Election District as it runs
to the Carroll County line.
(3) That part of the 4th Election District consisting of precincts
1, 2, and 4 in their entirety, that part of precinct 3 that lies south
of a line extended southeasterly from the Carroll County line along
Westminster Road to its intersection with the power transmission
lines and thence northeasterly to the 8th precinct line (Western Mary-
land R.R. right-of-way), that part of precinct 5 that lies north of
Kingsbury Road, north of Cherry Hill Road, west of Highfalcon Road
and south of Hammershire Road, and that portion of the 8th precinct
that is enclosed by the intersections of the Western Maryland R.R.
right-of-way, the power transmission lines, and the line between the
3rd and 8th precincts.
Seventh District: Baltimore City: Wards 5, precincts 1-17 of Ward
7, precincts 5-6 of Ward 6, precincts 1-17 of Ward 7, precincts 4-24
of Ward 8, precincts 6-25 of Ward 9, Wards 10-11, precincts 5-20 of
Ward 12, Wards 13-19, all precincts except the 13th of Ward 20, pre-
cincts 78-85, 91-102 of Ward 27, and all precincts except 2B of Ward 28.
Eighth District: Montgomery County: Election Districts 2-11, and
all precincts except precincts 4, 6, 9, 21, 22, and 41 of the 13th District.
UNITED STATES REPRESENTATIVES FROM MARYLAND
1789—Daniel Carroll, Benjamin Contee, George Gale, Joshua Seney,
William Smith, Michael Jenifer Stone.
1791—Philip Key, William Pinkney,' John Francis Mercer,' William
Vans Murray, Joshua Seney, William Hindman, Upton
Sheridine, Samuel Sterett.
1 Resigned in November, 1791, the question of inellgibility owing to his residence
having been raised.
' Elected to fill vacancy caused by resignation of William Pinkney, and took his
seat February 6, 1792.
" Resigned May 1, 1792,
.' Elected to fill vacancy caused by resignation of Joshua Seney, and took his seat
