Pine Bluff State Hospital

Pine Bluff State Hospital, opened In 1&12 as a private institution,
became State-owned in 1928. It received its present name in 1949.
Pine Bluff provides for the care of 65 patients.

hospitals are under the supervision of the Bureau of Medical Services
and Hospitals.

1951, opened in 1953 as the principal unit of the Chronic Disease
Hospital System. Its principal emphasis is on rehabilitation. Its bed
capacity is 481.
