Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and the District of Columbia.
Appropriations: 1965, $386,919; 1966, $439,373.
CARDINAL GIBBONS HIGH SCHOOL, Ridge 20680; Rev. Anthony
R. Griffin, Director; established 1924; academic, vocational, agri-
culture, home economics, for boys and girls. Appropriations: 1965,
$2,000; 1966, $2,000.

MARYLAND HISTORICAL SOCIETY, 201 W. Monument Street, Bal-
timore 21201; Frederick W. Burnie, President; Harold R. Manakee,
Director; library of books, documents, manuscripts and maps,
museum. Appropriations: 1965, $27,500; 1966, $27,600.
THE STAR-SPANGLED BANNER FLAG HOUSE ASSOCIATION,
INC., 844 E. Pratt Street, Baltimore 21202; Gordon M. F. Stick,
President; Mrs. J. Elmer Weisheit, Director; Flag House and 1812
Museum. Quarterly publication, "The Patriot." Appropriations:
1965, $4,500; 1966, $4,500.
PENINSULA HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY. Advancement of horti-
culture and agriculture on the Delmarva Peninsula. Appropria-
tions: 1965, $500; 1966, $500.
MARYLAND ACADEMY OF SCIENCES, 7 W. Mulberry Street, Bal-
timore 21201; Nigel O'C. Wolff, Director; established in 1797 for
the purpose of collecting, preserving, disseminating, and inter-
preting scientific information for the people of Maryland. Appro-
priations: 1965, $20,000; 1966, $25,000.
MARYLAND STATE FIREMEN'S ASSOCIATION. The funds appro-
priated are the State's share of the pension fund for disabled fire-
men or for widows and children of deceased firemen (Chapter 260,
Acts of 1&35). Appropriations: 1965, $22,500; 1966, $22,500.
STATE-AIDED HEALTH SERVICES
HOSPITAL FOR THE CONSUMPTIVES OF MARYLAND (EUDO-
WOOD SANATORIUM), The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore
21205; established 1894; Colonel James H. Hamilton, Assistant
Secretary-Treasurer. Six members of the Board of Directors are
appointed by the Governor for a six-year term. The Governor's
appointees are: Henry Davis, 1967; James J. Dembeck, 1967; Mrs.
Arthur Peabody Bond, 1969; Royden A. Blunt, 1969; Samuel Matz,
1971; Mrs. H. Frew Waidner, Jr„ 1971. Upon the expiration of
their present terms of office, all members of the Board of Directors
will be hereafter elected by the Board of Directors including the
six members appointed by the Governor of Maryland.
