CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS
Chapter 64—Acts of 1960
An Act to propose an amendment to Article 15 of the Declaration
of Rights of the Constitution of Maryland, granting authorization to
the General Assembly the power to provide for the separate assess-
ment, classification, and sub-classification of land, improvements on
land and personal property, and requiring that all taxes levied shall
be uniform as to each class or sub-class of land, improvements on land,
and personal property.
Chapter 65—Acts of 1960
An Act to propose an amendment to Article 43 of the Declaration
of Rights of the Constitution of Maryland, granting authorization to
the General Assembly to provide that land actively devoted to farm
or agricultural use shall be assessed on the basis of such use and shall
not be assessed as if sub-divided.
