Pocomoke City, Worcester County, January 8, 1885. Attended Cris-
field public schools. Newspaper editor and publisher. Member, Cris-

Board of Directors, McCready Memorial Hospital, Crisfield. Member,
Order of the Eastern Star; Masons; Elks; Crisfield Country Club;
Governor's Club. Member of the House of Delegates since 1957. 1

CHESTER J. RAY, Democrat, Baltimore 2nd; born in Baltimore,
September II, 1915. Attended Baltimore public schools. Auditor.
Served with the U. S. Army during World War II. Member, Demo-
cratic State Central Committee, 1951-55; Baltimore City Council,
1955-59. Member, 6th, 10th, and 11th Wards Democratic Clubs. Vice
