Baltimore, February 2, 1924. Attended Baltimore parochial and public
schools. Clerk, Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company. Served with
the U. S. Navy during World War II. Member, Anne Arundel County
Recreation Commission, 1961-62. Member, Anne Arundel Democratic
Council; Broadneck Democratic Club; Lake Shore Democratic Club,
Inc.; Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks Union; Knights
of Columbus; American Legion; Veterans of Foreign Wars. Married.
Member of the House of Delegates since 1963.

HENRY J. FOWLER, Democrat, St. Mary's County; born in
Mechanicsville, August 6, 1909. Attended St. Mary's County public
schools; Charlotte Hall Military Academy; Newspaper Institute of

MARTHA I. GLOTFELTY, Republican, Garrett County; born in
Garrett County, August 31, 1908. Attended Garrett County and Penn-
sylvania public schools; California State Teachers' College; Waynes-
boro College. Former school teacher. Member, Republican Women's
Club; County Education Committee; Farming for Better Living Coun-
cil. President, Garrett County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Married.

WILLIAM J. GOODMAN, Democrat, Prince George's County; born
in Boyen, Arkansas, January 22, 1930. Attended California public

ELWOOD S. GROVES, Republican, Garrett County; born in Mc-
Henry, July 29, 1903. Attended Garrett County public schools. Retired
from District government. Served with Fifth Marine Reserves,
1931-35. Member, Knights of Pythias; Oakland Country Club. Married.
Member of the House of Delegates since 1963.
