WEST NOTTINGHAM ACADEMY, Colora; Norman C.Farnlof, Head-
master; established 1744 as an adjunct of the Nottingham Pres-
byterian Church; grades 7-12 and PG, boarding and day; co-edu-
cational (Chapter 86, Acts of 1949). Appropriations: 1961, $1,500;
1962, $1,600.

MARYLAND SCHOOL FOR THE BLIND, 3501 Taylor Avenue, Balti-
more 6, Maryland, (Overlea); Francis M. Andrews, Superinten-
dent; established 1853; elementary and secondary education for
blind students of Maryland, Delaware, and District of Columbia.
Appropriations: 1961, $362,050; 1962, $362,050.

CARDINAL GIBBONS INSTITUTE, Ridge; Rev. Paul S. Rock, S.J„
Director; established 1924; academic, vocational agriculture, home
economics, for boys and girls; rural cooperatives, evening courses
for adults. Appropriations: 1961, $2,000; 1962, $2,000.

MARYLAND HISTORICAL SOCIETY, 201 W. Monument Street,
Baltimore; George L. Radcliffe, President; James W. Foster, Di-
rector; library of books, documents, manuscripts and maps, mu-
seum. Appropriations: 1961, $27,600; 1962, $27,500.

THE STAR-SPANGLED BANNER FLAG HOUSE ASSOCIATION,
INC., 844 E. Pratt Street, Baltimore 2; John A. Pentz, President;
Mrs. J. Elmer Weisheit, Director; Flag House and 1812 Museum.
Appropriations: 1961, $7,600; 1962, $7,600.

PENINSULAR HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY. Advancement of horti-
culture and agriculture on the Delmarva Peninsula. Appropria-
tions: 1961, $500; 1962, $500.

MARYLAND ACADEMY OF SCIENCES, 400 Cathedral Street, Bal-
timore; Nigel O'C. Wolff, Director; established in 1797 for the
purpose of collecting, preserving, disseminating and interpreting
scientific information for the people of Maryland. Appropriations:
1961, $6,000; 1962, $6,000.

MARYLAND STATE FIREMEN'S ASSOCIATION. The funds appro-
priated are the State's share of the pension fund for disabled fire-
men or for widows and children of deceased firemen (Chapter 260,
Acts of 1935). Appropriations: 1961, $22,500; 1962, $22,500.

STATE-AIDED HEALTH SERVICES

HOSPITAL FOR THE CONSUMPTIVES OF MARYLAND (EUDO-
WOOD SANATORIUM), Towson; established 1894; Colonel James
R. Hamilton, Superintendent. Six members of the Board of Direc-
tors are appointed by the Governor for a six-year term. The Gov-
ernor's appointees are: Mrs. Arthur Peabody Bond, 1963; Royden
A. Blunt, 1963; Mrs. H. Frew Waidner, Jr., 1965; Morris Kasoff,
1966; Henry Davis, 1967; Vacancy, 1967.
