has appointed two advisors and an investment board which super-
vises the investments of the Board's Funds. It is the duty of the
Board to prescribe necessary rules and regulations for the operation
of the retirement system and to approve those applying for disa-
bility pensions or retirement. At the present time an actuarial study
of other retirement plans is being made for the purpose of recom-
mending a more equitable system (Code 1947 Supp. Art. 88B, sec.
35A)..
