Under the Act of the General Assembly of 1945, the Board of Man-
agers is appointed in accordance with the following (Chapter 1069,
1945):
"From and after June 1, 1943, the Board of Managers of said Insti-
tution shall continue in office until the expiration of their respective
terms. Thereafter, the Governor shall annually appoint three mem-
bers for staggered terms of 6 years, so arranged that the terms of
three members shall expire on Juno I, of each year. The Board
shall consist of 9 members and members shall be eligible for re-
appointment. Any member of the Board who shall fail to attend
meetings for a period of one year shall be considered to have re-
signed and shall have his name forwarded to the Governor and the
Governor shall appoint his successor who shall serve for the remain-
der of the said terms."
