other than for his own family use, under the penalty of five
dollars for each barrel by him purchased;
171. The inspector of flour at Williamsport shall enter into
bond to the State of Maryland, with good and sufficient secu-
rities, to be approved by the Governor, in the penal sum of one
thousand dollars, conditioned for the true and faithful discharge
of his duties as inspector.
172. Any person sending or transporting flour from the town
of Williamsport to the city of Baltimore, which has been in-
spected by the inspector of flour at Williamsport, or his deputy,
may export, sell or otherwise dispose of the same without being
subjected to reinspection in said city.
173. The burgess and commissioners of Williamsport may
appoint annually, or otherwise, three competent millers, or two
millers and one baker, as a standing committee, to whom it shall
be the privilege of any person to appeal from the judgment of
the inspector of flour.
174. The three persons so appointed, before they review any
flour in dispute, shall take an oath to decide the case to be
reviewed agreeably to the standard fixed by the general in-
spector at Baltimore, and shall then proceed to review and care-
fully examine the flour in question, and compare the same with
eaid standard.
175. If they, or any two of them, shall reverse the judgment
BO appealed from, the inspector shall put on the cask or casks
containing said flour, such brands' as they or any two of them
shall declare to be agreeable to said standard.
LTTMBEB AND COAL.
176. The Governor, by and with the advice and consent ot
the Senate, shall biennially appoint one measurer and inspector
of lumber, and a measurer of coal, for the town of Williamsport.
177. The said inspector and measurer of lumber shall have
power to appoint two or more deputies.
178. The measurer of coal shall have power to appoint one
deputy.
