804 SOMERSET COUNTY. [ART. 19.

35*. The said Orphans' Court shall, if in their judgment the
interest of the apprentice requires it, either on account of
improper treatment or failure or neglect on the part of the hirer
to give proper instructions to such apprentice in his trade or
occupation, order the hirer to return said apprentice to his mas-
ter, and may order such sum to be paid by the master to the
hirer as they may think just.

CIRCUIT COURT.

86. There shall be four terms of the Circuit Court for Somerset
county in each. year, commencing at Princess Anne on the
second Monday of the months of January and July, and on the
first Monday in each of the months of April and October.

37. The sheriff of said county shall, to the April and October
terms of Baid court, Bummon and return a panel of persona
qualified according to law to serve as jurors at said terms,
and the judge of said court may, whenever in his judgment it
may be expedient, order the clerk of said court to issue to the
sheriff of the county a writ of venire facias, commanding him to
summon twenty-five persons qualified to serve as jurors, to
attend the said court as petit jurors at its January and July term
then next ensuing.

38. The judge of said court may pass all auch rules as shall be
necessary to facilitate the transaction of business in said county;

Provided, that such rules shall provide for the transaction of
equity business, And the said court for equity business shall be
considered as always open.

COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

89. There shall be three county commissioners for Somerset
oounty-

40. Each commissioner shall be entitled to two dollars and
fifty cents for each day he. may attend in the discharge of his
duties, and five cents a mile for every mile his place of residence
may be distant from their place of meeting, to be computed for
each day's attendance, and the commissioners, at the first meet-
ing after their election, shall determine the amount of mileage
each commissioner shall bo entitled to receive.
