COUNTY COMMISSIONEBS.
25. There shall be five county commissioners for Montgomery
county.
26. Each county commissioner for said county shall be entitled
to three dollars a day for each day he shall attend to the duties
of his office, and five cents for every mile he shall necessarily
travel from his place of residence to their place of meeting, but
no mileage in returning.
27. They shall appoint a clerk, who shall before one of the
commissioners take and subscribe the following oath: " I, A. B.,
do swear that as clerk of the commissioners of Montgomery
county, I will honestly and faithfully, to the best of my skill and
judgment, execute the duties of said office, without favor, affection
or prejudice, so help me God;" and the said oath shall be re-
corded in the office of the clerk of the Circuit Cpurt for said
county.
28. In case of a vacancy in the office of clerk, such vacancy
shall be supplied by the county commissioners, aa aoon thereafter
as may be practicable.
29. The clerk to said county commissioners shall be entitled
to two dollars a day for every day he shall attend upon the said
comnussioners, and such additional compensation as the said
commissioners may allow.
CIRCUIT COUKT.
30. There shall be two terms of the Circuit Court for Mont-
gomery county, in each year, and they shall commence and be
held at Rockville, in said county, on the first Monday of March,
and the second Monday of November.
31. The judge of the Circuit Court for said county, in his dis-
cretion, may appoint intermediate terms between the Circuit
Court terms, in said county, for the transaction of equity busi-
' ness, to which said terms process shall be returnable, as well as
to the stated terms of the Circuit Court.
82. The clerk of said court shall keep an index of all judg-
ments rendered in said court, and of all judgments rendered by
