198. If the party so offending shall refuse to pay the fine, he
shall be imprisoned in the county jail not less than thirty days.

199. If the party so offending be a slave, he shall receive any
number of lashes that may be ordered by the justice, not exceed-
ing thirty-nine.

200. If any resistance be made to the officers directed to exe-
cute this law by any person offending against the same, the said
officer shall summon the posse comitatus and proceed therewith
without delay to execute his duty under such warrants.

201. No person shall at any time within the waters of Sassa-
fras, Elk or Bohemia Eivers, or any of the creeks or branches
connected therewith, shoot or shoot at any duck or ducks from
any vessel, boat, canoe, skiff or other craft of less than ten tons'
burthen.

202. Any person so offending shall be deemed guilty of a mis.
demeanor, and upon indictment and conviction thereof in the
Circuit Court for Cecil county, or the Circuit Court for Kent
county, shall be fined not less than fifty dollars, or imprisoned
not less than three months, at the discretion of the court.

203. Any person who shall aid or abet in any manner by fur-
nishing a boat, vessel or craft, or gun or ammunition, to any one
for the purpose of shooting ducks contrary to the provisions of
section 201st of this article, or who shall purchase ducks from
any one who has shot them contrary thereto, knowing that they
were so unlawfully shot, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and
upon indictment and conviction in either of the aforesaid courts
shall be fined and imprisoned, or either, at the discretion of the
court.

204. If any person or persons shall use any decoy ducks, sink
boats, sneak boats, crafts or floats in any of the waters of Chester
or Sassafras Eivers and Chesapeake Bay and their tributary
streams bordering on Kent county, while engaged in shooting at
or killing wild ducks or other wild fowl, he or they shall be sub-
ject to a fine of not less than five nor more than fifty dollars for
each. offence, and all things hereinafter enumerated which have
been used in violation of this section shall be forfeited, that is to
say: the decoy ducks, sink boats, sneak boats, crafts or floats,
the gun or guns, ammunition, and all other property found in
