buildings as the county commissioners shall from time to time
direct.
86. He shall, as a compensation for such services, be entitled
to two dollars a day, in addition to his fees, for every day he
shall attend during the session of said court, and to such further
compensation as the county commissioners may in their discre-
tion allow for taking care of the public buildings.
DROVERS.
87. Every drover who shall drive any cattle or sheep in or
through Kent county shall have each one marked with red paint
or tar on their forehead or back, that the mark may be easily dis-
covered or seen, and on failure thereof ho shall forfeit the value
of such cattle or sheep as shall be found in his droVe unmarked
by any resident of .said county.
88. Any person finding any unmarked cattle or sheep in a
drove, in said county, may take them from such drove, and if
they are not his own, he shall advertise them in some public
newspaper, for not less than three weeks, and if no owner shall
then appear to claim them, he shall sell them at public sale.
89. One half of the net amount of such sale, after deducting
the charges for keeping such cattle or sheep, shall go to the per-
son so detecting or taking up, and the other half to the county
commissioners, to be applied or divided among the primary
schools of said county.
ELECTIONS.
90. Kent county is divided into three election districts, accord-
ing to their present bounds and limits, and elections for all public
officers shall be held in each of said districts at the place now-
established by law for that purpose.
FENCES.
91. Wherever joint fences have been or may be established in
said county, for the mutual advantage of different owners or pos-
sessors of adjoining lands, each party shall keep in good repair
his proper proportion thereof in manner following, that is to say:
all post and rail or plank fences shall be at least four foot six
inches high, and not more than four inches between the lower
