resides, and shall be applied for the repair of said market house
and the benefit of the same.

CIRCUIT COURT.

79. There shall be two terms of the Circuit Court for Kent
county, commencing at Chestertown on the third Monday of
April and the third Monday of October in each year.

80. The judge of the Circuit Court for Kent county may, in
his discretion, appoint intermediate terms between the Circuit
Courts for the transaction of equity business, to which terms
equity process shall be returnable as well as to the stated terms
of the Circuit Court.

COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

81. There shall be three county commissioners for Kent county.

82. Each county commissioner shall be entitled to two dollars
for each day of his attendance, and if he shall reside one mile
or more from the county town in said county, he shall receive,
in addition to his per diem, mileage at the rate of six ^and a
quarter cents a mile for each day's attendance, for the distance
necessarily travelled from his residence to the said county
town.

83. They shall pay to the clerk whom they shall appoint such
sum as they shall think proper.

84. The president and clerk of said commissioners may ad
minister oaths relating to the business matters of said court in
all cases required by the laws of this State, or the rules and
regulations of said commissioners.

CKIEE.

85. The crier of the Circuit Court, in addition to his other
duties, shall take charge of the court and jury rooms, and cause
them to be kept well cleansed and in good order; make the
necessary fires for the use of the courts while in session, and be
in attendance to call and adjourn the same, and perform all
other duties required of him by said court; and shall also attend
to the preservation and cleansing such other parts of the public
