JUKOBS.
76. Bach juror summoned on the regular panel of jurors to the
Circuit Court for Harford county shall receive a per diem of one
dollar and fifty cents, and in addition to his per diem, b'e entitled
to an allowance of three cents for every mile that his place of
residence shall be distant from the place of holding said court, to
be allowed him in going to and returning from the court on each
day such juror may attend said court.
77. The per diem and mileage of jurors to said court shall be
levied and paid at the times and in the manner before provided
for the payment of the compensation of bailiffs, and upon like
evidence.
78. The sheriff in summoning jurors shall note upon the list
of the same, before he returns it to the clerk of the Circuit
Court, the distance each juror summoned resides from the place
of holding the court, and the clerk shall return a copy of such
list of jurors, with the distance so noted, to the county commis-
sioners.
JUSTICES or rqE PEACE AND CONSTABLES.
79. There shall be the following number of justices of the peace
and constables for Harford county, to wit: For election district
number one, four justices of the peace and three constables;
for election district number two, four justices of the peace and
three constables; for election district number three, five justices
of the peace and four constables; for election district number
four, four justices of the peace and three constables; for election
district number five, five justices of the peace and three con-
stables; for election district number six, two justices of the peace
and one constable.
LANDINGS.
80*. The county commissioners of Harford county are hereby
authorized, if in their judgment the public convenience shall
require it, to locate, establish and improve a public landing on
the Susquehanna River at or near Lapidum, or Bell's Perry, in
said county.
81*. The same proceedings shall bo had to locate, improve and
establish said public landing as are required by law to open a
public road.
