ART. 12.] HARFORD COUNTY. 611

CIRCUIT COURT.

23. The Circuit Court for Harford county shall meet at Bel
Air in said county on the fourth Monday in February, the fourth
Monday in April, the first Monday in August, and the second
Monday in November.

24. The sheriff shall summon a jury to each term of said
court.

COLLECTORS.

25. The bonds of the collectors of Harford county, when exe-
cuted and recorded agreeably to law, shall be a lien on the real
estates of the several collectors from the sealing and delivery
thereof.

26. The collectors of taxes in Harford county shall have all
the powers to collect the county taxes by distress or execution,
which they have to collect the State taxes, and the same
course of proceedings shall be pursued.

COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

27. There shall be five county commissioners for Harford
county.

, 28. They shall be entitled to the same pay and mileage as
jurors for said county.

29. They shall annually appoint a fit. and proper person, a
resident of said county, as clerk to said commissioners, who
shall, before he enters upon the duties of his office, execute a
bond to the State of Maryland, to be approved by said commis-
sioners, in the penalty of one thousand dollars, conditioned for
the true and faithful performance of the duties of his office.

80. The said bond shall be recorded in the office of the clerk
of the Circuit Court for said county.

31. He shall receive such annual salary as the county commis-
sioners shall direct, not exceeding the sum of three hundred dollars.

32. All vacancies in the "office of clerk shall be filled by the
county commissioners.
