lations in regard to the inspection of flour in said city shall
extend to every part of said inspection district; but nothing
herein contained shall authorize the inspector of flour to inspect
the same in or at any mill within said district.

150. No inspector of flour for said city shall purchase, directly
or indirectly, any flour by him condemned, or any flour what-
soever, other than for his own family use, under the penalty of
five dollars for each barrel by him purchased.

151. The general inspector of flour in the city of Baltimore,
within ten days after the standard of flour is fixed for said city,
shall send to the inspector of the city of Frederick a fair speci-
men of the standard and samples of flour there established and
collected, to be kept by the inspector for Frederick.

152. In all cases where an inspector may pronounce a flour
barrel insufficient, or shall condemn the same, the owner of such
barrel, or his agent, may either cause the same to be repaired or
substitute a new one, as the case may require, or he may make
such deduction from the price of his flour as may be mutually
agreed upon between himself and the purchaser thereof.

153. The said inspector shall, on the head of every cask of flour
inspected by him, brand his name and the words " city of Frederick."

154. Any person carrying, sending, or transporting flour from
the city of Frederick to the city of Baltimore, may export, sell or
otherwise dispose of the aame without its being re-inspected in
the city of Baltimore.

JLlEATHEB.

155. The Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the
Senate, shall biennially appoint one person of integrity, expe-
rience and skill in regard to the various qualities of sole leather,
to be inspector of sole leather, and rough harness and skirting
leather, or any other rough leather, in the city of Frederick,
who shall not be either directly or indirectly, for himself or any
other person, concerned in tanning or currying, or in any wise
concerned in any dealing or trafficking in leather of any kind.

156. It shall be the duty of every such inspector to provide
himself with such and so many proper scales, weights and
Stamps as may be required in the performance of the duties of
