JURORS.

118. Each juror summoned on the regular panel of jurors to
the Circuit Court for Dorchester county, shall be entitled for
each day he shall attend as juror, to the sum of one dollar and
twenty-five cents, and in addition thereto to an allowance of
three cents per mile for every mile that his place of residence
shall be distant from the place of holding the Circuit Court, to
bo allowed him for going to and returning from the court.

119. The sheriff of Dorchester county, in summoning jurors
to the Circuit Court, shall note upon the list of the same, before
he returns it to the clerk of the court, the distance each juror
summoned resides from the place of holding the Circuit Court,
and the clerk shall return a copy of such list of jurors, with the
distance of their respective places of residence, to the county
commissioners.

120. The county commissioners shall annually levy such sum
of money as they shall deem sufficient to pay the expenses which
may be annually incurred by the attendance of jurors at the
Circuit Court for Dorchester county.

121. The sums so levied shall be collected by the collector of
Dorchester county as other county charges. .

122. The said collector shall pay to the jurors of the Circuit
Court, immediately after the termination of each court, such sum
of money as they may severally be entitled to receive for their
attendance at said court as jurors.

128. A certificate signed by the clerk of the Circuit Court, ex-
pressing the number of days any juror may have attended said
court, and the sum due to him for such attendance, including the
mileage to which such juror is entitled, shall be sufficient au-
thority to the collector to pay the amount specified, in said
certificate.

JUSTICES OF THE PEACE AND CONSTABLES.'

124. There shall be the following number of justices of the
peace and constables for Dorchester county, to wit: for election
district number one, two justices of the peace and one consta-
ble; for election district number two, two justices of the peace
