description of said swine, and if the same are not reclaimed
within three days after seizure and impounding, and the ex-
pense of impounding and keeping, to be allowed by a justice of
the peace, together with seventy-five cents for every swine, paid,
the said swine shall be sold at public sale by the person, im-
pounding the same, after three days' notice, in writing, set up
as aforesaid, and the proceeds of such sale applied to the expense
of keeping and impounding such swine, and the balance shall be
paid to the treasurer for the use of the corporation.

WITNESSES.

145. The county commissioners for said county shall annually
levy such a sum as they may deem sufficient to pay all the
State's witnesses who may be summoned to attend the Circuit
Court for said county.

146. The collectors of taxes shall pay each witness such sum
as he shall appear, by the certificate of the clerk of the Circuit
Court, to be entitled to receive, immediately after such witness
is discharged from his attendance at said court.
