appointed to decide upon, and for any subsequent meeting within
the year; and the commanding officer of the regiment in whose
district such person shall reside, shall thereupon cause his name
to be stricken from the muster roll of the district company in
which he is enrolled, under a penalty not exceeding twenty
dollars, in the discretion of such court martial as the case may
require.

756. If any commissioned officer shall issue such certificate
to any person who is not entitled under this law to receive the
same, he shall be cashiered or fined not exceeding one hundred
dollars, in the discretion of such court martial as the case may
require; and if any person shall give or receive such certificate
who is not authorized to give or entitled to receive the same,
such person shall forfeit and pay the sum of fifty dollars, which
shall be recovered under the direction of any officer discovering
the same, and when collected, shall be paid over to the pay-
master of the third division.

757. The parades of the first light division shall take place as
follows: regimental inspection, first Monday in May, two o'clock,
P.M. ; brigade parade, first Monday in June, two o'clock, p. M. ;

company parade, twelfth of September, eight o'clock, A.M.;

division review, nineteenth of October, nine o'clock, A. M. ; and
if either oT the said last two parades happen on Sunday, it shall
take place at the same hour on the following day.

758. At the May, June and September parades, the command-
ing officer -of the division, as soon as the parade is formed at the
place appointed in division orders, shall forthwith hand over to
the commanding officer of brigades, the command of their re-
spective brigades, and the commanding officer of brigades at the
May and September parade, shall forthwith hand over to the
commanding officers of regiments the command of their re-
spective regiments, and such commanding officers of regiments
at the September parade shall forthwith hand over to the com-
manding officers of companies, the command of their respective
companies.

759. The parades of the third division shall take place on the
first Wednesday in May, the first Wednesday in June, the twelfth
day of September, and the first Wednesday in October; the
parades in May shall be company parades, the parades in June
shall be regimental parades for inspection, and the parades in
