number six, two justices of the peace and two constables; for
election district number seven, two justices of the peace and one
constable; for election district number eight, two justices of the
peace and one constable; for election district number nine, two
justices of the peace and one constable; for election district
number ten, two justices of the peace and one constable; for
election district number eleven, two justices of the peace and one
constable; for election district number twelve, two justices of
the peace and one constable; for election district number thirteen,
two justices of the peace and two constables; for election dis-
trict number fourteen, two justices of the peace and one con-
stable

95. Every constable in AIlegany county shall receive, in addi-
tion to the fifty cents allowed by law for delivering to the sheriff
any person on commitment, six and a quarter cents per mile for
every mile he may have to travel over four miles.

96. Every constable who may find it necessary to summon
any person to assist him in taking to jail any person on commit-
ment, shall Summon a constable, if one be convenient, and such
constable, or any person summoned for that purpose, shall be
entitled to the fees and mileage aforesaid.

97*. It shall not be lawful for any resident of AIlegany county,
to be sued before any justice of the peace of said county, out of
the election district in which he resides; Provided, however, that
upon a cause of action within the jurisdiction of a justice of the
peace, arising in said county, any resident may be sued before a
justice of the peace, in the election district wherein the contract
was made, or such cause of action did originate.

98*. Nothing in the last preceding section shall operate so as
to prevent residents of election districts number six and thirteen
in said county, from being sued in either of said districts.

MANUFACTURERS AND MINERS.

99. If any individual, association, or body corporate, engaged
in mining or manufacturing in AIlegany county, shall, for the
space of thirty days, be indebted to the persons in their employ,
Or to furnishers of any raw material, in the aggregate sum of.
twenty-five dollars, and shall neglect or refuse to pay the same
for the space of thirty days, the Circuit Court for said county,
