D. 1340. ----- CHAP. 1. A confirmation of liberties. See the note on 52 Hen. 3, Ch. 5. CHAP. 12. Bushels and weights shall be made and sent unto every county. (Part.) See the note on 9 Hen. 3, Ch. 25. Statute, 14 Edw. 3, Stat. 2.--A. D. 1340. CHAP. 2. All merchants being no enemies, shall come into this realm and depart quietly. See the note on 9 Hen. 3, Ch. 30. 18 Edw. 3, Stat. 2.--A. D. 1344. ----- CHAP. 5. No exigent shall be granted in trespass, but where it is against the peace. See the note on 25 Edw. 3, St. 5, Ch. 14. A statute made 25 Edw. 3, Stat. 2, of those that be born beyond sea. ----- In what place, bastardy pleaded against him that is born out of the realm, shall be tried. (Part.) The part of this statute declaring that children, inheritors, born out of the liegance of the king, whose parents at the time of their birth should be at the faith and liegance of the king, should inherit, &c. must have been in force in the province, together with the other statutes on the subject.
