BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

Gentlemen of the Senate :

We herewith return house bill entitled an Act to protect
clams and shell fish in Worcester county, with proposed
amendment of your Honorable Body. The House refuses to
concur in the amendment proposed, and respectfully ask
your Honorable Body to recede from its amendment.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2, of Article 41,
of the Public General Laws of Maryland, title, "fish and
fisheries," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Strike out after the word, " of " in line 9, and section 1,
the words, " the aforesaid counties," and insert in lieu thereof
the words, "this State."
