Which was adopted.

Mr. Beck submitted the following amendment :

Section 1, line 6, after the word "Baltimore," insert the
word Kent.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Holloway submitted the following amendment:

Section 1, line 6, after the word "Baltimore," insert the
word Worcester.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Iglehart,

The further consideration thereof was postponed and the
bill made the order of the day for Wednesday, March 25th.

Mr. Lowe, Chairman of a select committee, reported fa-
vorably

A bill entitled an Act to provide for the supervision and
construction of roads and bridges in Talbot county.
Which was read a first time.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 125, 126, 127, 128
and 129, of Article 20, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title Talbot county, sub-title Roads, relating to gates on the
public roads of said county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Dalrymple, Chairman of a select committee, reported
favorably

A bill entitled an Act to allow Isaac Solomon, of Calvert
county, to dredge for oysters, during the summer months, in
that portion of the Chesapeake bay, lying near the mouth of
the Patuxent river, between Cedar point and the flag ponds,
on the Western shore of the Chesapeake bay.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Bond, of Baltimore city, Chairman of the Committee on
the Library, reported favorably

Resolutions authorizing the State Librarian to furnish the
Clerk of the Circuit Court, for Charles county, certain re-
ports therein named, for the use of said Court.

Which were read a first time.

Mr. Smith, of Worcester, Chairman of a select committee,
reported favorably

A bill entitled an Act to repeal, amend and re-enact sub-
section 1, of an Act passed January 1865, entitled an Act to.
add an Article to the Code of Public General Laws, in re-
