The bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article 20, of the Public Local Laws, for Talhot county and
town of St. Michaels, to be entitled, "Harbors and Harbor
Masters.'

Which was read a first time and referred to Messrs. Rose,
Lowe and Percy.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate a company to con-
struct a Turnpike Road from Williamsport in Washington
county, to the Washington county railroad.

Which was read a first time, and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.

Also,

The hill entitled an Act to repeal sections 4 and 13, of the
Act of Assembly, passed at the January session 1856, chapter
97, entitled an Act to establish and endow an Agricultural
College in the State of Maryland, and to enact the following
sections in lieu thereof.

Which was read a first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Agriculture.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
Register of Wills for Worcester county, to grant orders of
sale in the recess of the Orphans' Court.

money to build a bridge across the north branch of the
Patapsco river, on the Lime Kiln Road.

Mr. Poteet, Chairman of the Committee on Roads and
Highways, reported favorably

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867,
chapter 290, entitled an Act to add a new Article to the Code
of Public General Laws, to be entitled Public Roads, and to
re-enact the following sections in lieu thereof.
