96 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 17,

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate.

On motion of Mr. Slingluff,

Leave of absence from the sessions of the House was
granted to Messrs. Johnson and Percy for five days.

Mr. Davis, of Carroll, asked, and was granted leave of
absence from the sessions of this House for four days.

Mr. Seibert asked, and was granted leave of absence from
the sessions of the House for three days.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 92 of Article 17
of Public Local Laws for Queen Anne's county, and section
1, 92 and 2 of the Act of 1867, chapter 421, relating to Jus-
tices of the Peace and Constables in aforesaid county,

Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

Mr. Smith, of Baltimore city, moved that the House do
now adjourn until to-morrow morning at 11 o'clock.

The question being upon concurring in the motion submit-
ted by Mr. Beck,
