Frederick county, widow of Vachel W. Dorsey, who was a
soldier of the war of 1812, from the State of Maryland, aw
annual pension of eighty dollars during her natural life.

Also, delivered

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the President,
Managers and Company of the Baltimore and Yorktown
Turnpike Road to run the cars for conveying passengers on
the Sabbath day, commonly called Sunday.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to amend the 18th Article of the
Code of Public General Laws, relating to Clerks of Courts,
by adding a section thereto imposing an additional duty on
the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas in regard to public
money received by him.

Which was read a first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Ways and Means.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to widen and improve the public
roads in WIcomico county.

Which was read a first time and referred to Messrs.
Fooks, Hopkins and Horsey.

On motion of Mr. Stewart, of Dorchester,

The vote by which the bill entitled an Act to repeal sec-
tions 151, 152, 153 and 154, of the Code of Public Laws,
entitled Coroners and Inquests, in the City of Baltimore, and
to substitute therefor the following, was this day rejected for
want of a constitutional majority,

Was reconsidered.

The question then recurring upon the passage of the bill,

Mr. Smith, of Baltimore city, moved that the House do
now adjourn until to-morrow morning, at 11 o'clock.

On motion of Mr. Slingluff,

The House at 10 3/4 o'clock, P. M., adjourned until to-mor-
row morning, at 10 o'clock.
