904 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 18,

The bill with pending amendments made the order of the
day for Thursday, March 19.

Mr. Mitchell, Chairman of the Commmittee on the Judi-
ciary, reported favorably

A hill entitled an Act to add additional sections to the
26th Article of the Code of Public General Laws of this State,
entitled "Corporations," sub-title "Religious Corporations."

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Iglehart, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably

A bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act, passed March 20th,
1865, entitled a further supplement to an Act to incorporate
companies to make several Turnpike roads through Baltimore
county, and for other purposes.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Cumberland
Wharf and Transportation Company.

Which was read a first time.

Also., from a majority of said committee,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 5 of an Act passed
9th March. 1860, entitled a further supplement to an Act
entitled an Act to incorporate companies to make several
Turnpike roads through Baltimore county, and for other
purposes ; to authorize the laying down and equipment of a
railway on the Baltimore and York Town Turnpike Road,
between Baltimore and Towsontown, and the collection of
tolls thereon.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Hall, Chairman of a select committee, reported
favorably upon a

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 69 of Article
1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany county, sub-
title Fences, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Mr. Devecmon, Chairman of a select committee, reported
favorably

A bill entitled an Act to amend the 188th section of Arti-
cle 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws for Allegany county,
relating to wild animals.

Which was read a first time.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to amend the 13th, 14th and 15th.
