Mr. Bowlus presented the petition of sundry citizens of
Frederick county, praying the revival of an Act passed Jan-
uary session, 1860, incorporating a company to build a turn-
pike from Frederick to Spout Spring, in Frederick county ;

Which was read and referred to the Frederick county

delegation.

Mr. Seibert presented a petition of sixty-two citizens of
Clearspring, in Washington county, asking certain changes
in the Act of Incorporation of said town ;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Cor-
porations.

Mr. Bond, of Calvert, presented the petitions of James
B. Dixon and 112 other citizens of Calvert county, praying
for the passage of an Act to continue in force the present
school system until the 15th of July, 1868,

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Edu-
cation.

Mr. Devecmon presented the petition of August Bonig, of
Allegany county, and also to authorize Hanson Willison to
convey real estate to said August Bonig.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the Ju-
diciary.

Mr. Wentz presented the petition sundry citizens of Balti-
more city to amend the testamentary laws in relation to
caveats.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the Ju-
diciary.

Mr. Hall presented the petition of twenty-six citizens of
District No. 1, of Alleganv county, for removing election

polls of District No. 1.

Which was read and referred to the Allegany delegation.

Mr. Holmes presented the petition of Robert Royston, Sr..
G. A. Bosley and fourteen other citizens of Baltimore coun-
ty praying the passage of an Act to continue the present
school system in force until July 15, 1868.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Edu-
cation .

Mr. Smith, of Worcester, presented the petition of sundry
citizens of Worcester county in relation to non-residents

catching oysters.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Fish
.and Oysters.

Mr. Blake submitted the following order :

Ordered, That it be placed on the Journal that Mr. Morse
is absent in consequence of sickness.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Iglehart,

Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel county delegation
to report a bill to amend Article 2. section 80, Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, Anne Arundel county, relating to County
Commissioners.
