Rail Road Company, with all the rights and powers of the
Franklin Rail Road Company,

Being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Iglehart,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill was made the order of the day for Tuesday, 24th inst.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 1, chapter 243 of
the Acts of 1867, entitled an Act to create a Board of Com-
missioners to keep open the harbor of Baltimore, and the
access thereto, from obstructions by ice, and for river and
harbor relief, and to enact the following in lieu thereof.

Being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Colton,

The said bill was recommitted to the select committee
which reported the same.

The bill entitled an Act to relieve and protect the opera-
tives in the cotton factories of Maryland.

Being upon a second reading,

Mr. Smith, of Baltimore city, moved to postpone the fur-
ther consideration thereof, and make the bill the order of
the day for Friday next.

The question recurring upon concurring in the motion to
postpone,

Mr. Montague demanded the yeas and nays.

The demand being sustained,

The yeas and nays were called and appeared as follows :
