Mr. Bond, of Baltimore city, (the rules being suspended,)
submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the use of this Hall be granted, on Sunday
next, to the Rev. George G. Smith, of Georgia, a minister of
the Southern Methodist Church.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Smith, of Worcester, Chairman of a select committee,
reported favorably

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 127, Article 22,
Public Local Laws, entitled "Worcester County," and to
re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Percy, Chairman of a select committee, reported

favorably

A bill entitled an Act to revive and continue in force the
charter of the Nanticoke Bridge Company.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Smith, of Worcester, Chairman of a select committee,
reported favorably

A bill entitled an Act to protect wild ducks in Worcester
county.

Which was read a first time.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 38, of Article 22,
of the Code of Public Local Laws for Worcester county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Mitchell, Chairman of a select committee, reported
favorably

A bill entitled an Act to regulate the time of holding the
respective Circuit Courts for the several counties comprising
the Seventh Judicial Circuit of Maryland, and to repeal the
Local Laws for the said counties in reference thereto.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Keech, Chairman of a select committee, reported
favorably

A hill entitled an Act to add an additional section to the
Public Local Laws of Prince George's county, sub-title
" Bladensburg," to prevent swine from going at large in,
said county.
